DROOPYS ONESTOP (Broadstrand Bono-Droopys Dorothy) delivered a powerful performance to win the €7,000 to the winner Apex Global Resources Ltd Cork Oaks at Curraheen Park on Saturday night.

Trained by Johnny Linehan for owner Sean Dunphy, the 4-1 shot turned last around the opening corners as Faypoint Susie was setting the early fractions. The Johnny Linehan-trained Unmatched was sent off the red-hot favourite, however, she failed to win the all-important early lead.

The powerful running winner made her move on the back straight, but it still looked between Faypoint Susie and Unmatched up front. A winner over further, Droopys Onestop put on a spectacular finish to fly home and land the feature. A 28.52 winning run, a length and a half in front of Faypoint Susie. Orchid Queen finished strongly for third, two lengths behind the runner-up.

Zaconey Vulcan pulled clear to win the opening heat of the Greyhound & Petworld Supersprint for owners Niall and Eric Foley. The 5-4 favourite scored easily, in 17.73.

In the following heat, Droopys Zelda, trained by Johnny Linehan for owners the O'Neills-On-Tour-Syndicate, impressed with a fine front-running display. A comfortable success, in 17.52.

Burgess Jack recovered from a slow start to win the third heat for Srah Shannon. Following up on a big recent success, the well-backed 5-4 favourite clocked 17.81 to land the spoils.

Road Exile, trained by Pat Buckley for owner R.A.Cowell, produced a flying performance to win the fourth and final heat. A super all-round display, winning easily, in 17.56.

Racing ended with Newinn Port, a well-backed 4-5 favourite, winning for trainer Graham Holland and owners the Hill Of Port Syndicate. In front early, the outcome was never in any doubt, as the impressive winner won with plenty to spare, in 28.53.
