A huge crowd gathered in Youghal track on Wednesday night to welcome Burgess Supreme, a winner of the National Produce Stakes in Clonmel on Sunday night, along with Killeagh owners JJ Fennelly and Sheila Spillane.
It was great to see the big crowd and huge credit must go to the Youghal Track Supporters Club for putting on lovely refreshments on the night.
Friends and Family celebrate the success of Burgess Supreme in Youghal.
It's Free Admission season at the Youghal track and that will continue until late August.
Another busy couple of months is expected at the seaside venue.
The performance of the night on the track came from Slaneyside Ryan who put on a high-class display to win the A0-A1, in 29.05, for Derek Kehoe.
The well-backed 5-4 favourite was led early by Ballydorgan Duke, but he had far too much power in the second half of the race. A 29.05 victory, four and a half lengths clear of the Ballydorgan runner.
