Milkybar Kid was a superb winner of his semi-final, showing tremendous early speed to come home clear in a rapid 28.53, and will be installed a clear favourite to come out on top this evening.

A repeat of his latest form may well be enough but any mistakes could throw it open to one of his more experienced rivals. Moyola Seamrog has the best of the draw on the fence and is respected in what could potentially be his final start.

He has been a wonderful servant for his owners, the Five Morettis Syndicate and is seeking his fifteenth career victory. Win or lose this evening, the son of Kinloch Brae will bring his career earnings beyond €10,000. He needs to come away racing but is clearly one to consider.

Milkybar Kid remains the one to beat, however, and were he to come away on terms, he would be very difficult to contain. He is chosen to lead home Moyola Seamrog and Monalmolin Squaw.
