Kilkenny Sales Going Ahead

KILKENNY SALES GOING AHEAD

The sales scheduled for Kilkenny on Saturday, July 1st will proceed as normal.

Once again there has been a bumper entry and the sales trials will commence at 8.30am. All greyhounds will be weighed in between 7.30 and 8am.

At Kilkenny’s most recent sales in May, Rebel Sapphire was purchased for €2,500. She subsequently made her debut at Shelbourne Park on June 10^th and was a most impressive winner, clocking a rapid 28.52. She is just one in a long line of successful purchases from a Kilkenny sale.

FESTIVAL ON HORIZON

On the racing front, attention now turns to the John Mitchell & KGOBA Festival of Racing which takes place on Sunday, July 16.

There are a number of sponsored sweepstakes and one-off races which will be run in conjunction with the night.

All of the sweepstakes and one -off races are currently advertised and the first of these sweeps will start on Friday, June 30^th. That night also acts as a benefit fundraiser for Lisdowney GAA.
