GRI announce extension to Tote Takedown to 12.5% for Shelbourne Park for February 2025

The Board of Greyhound Racing Ireland have announced that they have authorised the continuation of the 12.5% Tote retention rate for the month of February at its Shelbourne Park venue for Saturday nights racing.

The continuation of this trial over an extended period will allow the Board to fully assess whether the model has a sustainable future.  The 12.5% rate was first launched in conjunction with the final three rounds of the Irish Greyhound Derby in November 2024.

Customers can avail of this reduced Tote retention rate each Saturday night for all racing at Shelbourne Park via all platforms (on track, inter-track and online).
