    CORK CAMOGIE STARS TO LINE OUT FOR FUNDRAISING NIGHT AT THE DOGS

    The Cork Senior Camogie team will hold a ‘Family Night at the Dogs’ fundraiser in support of the Cork Camogie Players Fund, this Saturday 15th February in Curraheen Park.

    Last August, the Cork Senior Camogie team claimed a 30th All Ireland title for Cork, delighting their fans young and old throughout the city and county.

    With great success in their high-performance environment comes costs that they must meet and Cork Camogie have commenced on their fundraising drive for 2025. One of their key fundraising events is a Night at the Dogs in Curraheen Park, with the team hoping to replicate the success of their event there in 2024.

    On the night the team will be there with the O’Duffy Cup so fans will have an opportunity to meet their heroes in person and get those all important photographs with the cup.There will be also be a raffle on the night with some fantastic prizes to be won.

    Cork captain, Meabh Cahalane said: “We’re looking forward to the upcoming fundraising event, last year’s event was extremely successful down to the generous support from both businesses and individuals which helped us to retain the O’Duffy Cup in 2024. Curraheen Park has been so good to us over the past two years allowing us to run the event and it should be another great night.”

    All money raised will go towards the player’s fund, helping to fundraise a high performance warm weather training camp in Portugal and cover expenses incurred through the season such as food, medical costs and physiotherapy, travel and training expenses.

    Darren Hogan, Racing Manager at Curraheen Park added “It was fantastic to see young and old come out last year to support their Camogie heroes who have brought such joy and success to the county in recent years. We look forward to welcoming them all again on Saturday 15th and we hope that it is the start of another successful year for the Cork Camogie team.”
