EAZY RAZZLE, trained by John Linehan for owner Barry Rocks, completed a wonderful three-timer with another outstanding display in the final of the €5,000 to the winner Elite Contracting Open 575 at Curraheen Park.
A winner of the Munster Oaks earlier this year and a recent runner-up in the final of the Irish Greyhound Laurels, Eazy Razzle was ending the year on a high as she picked up this lovely pot on home turf. It was a great race to the opening corner and it got messy with Orchid Legacy coming out worst. It was Gaytime Hugo who slipped around in front, however, Eazy Razzle turned second and it was race on. The one in front was moving well and Hugo kicked three lengths clear down into the second-last corners. From here, Eazy Razzle hit top gear and she powered home, finishing with a flourish, she ran down the strong-running Gaytime Hugo in the final strides. A fantastic winning performance for local connections, clocking 31.42 and beating Gaytime Hugo, by a neck. Tuono Charlie stayed on well for third, two lengths behind the runner-up.
Move To Soon made full use of the inside draw to win the final of the €1,000 to the winner GoGreyhoundRacing.ie A1 for trainer Kieran Lynch and owners Length and a half Syndicate. The even-money favourite just made the corner in front, soon quickening clear, the impressive winner scored easily, in 28.71.
Fifteen Bold made it back-to-back wins in the final of the €1,000 to the winner Springmount Kennels A2 550 for Eamonn Morton and Terry Gillick. Tracking Arclight Bolt early, just like last week, the winner displayed plenty of back straight pace to hit the front and the even-money favourite pulled two lengths clear to win, in 30.20.
