The news broke yesterday that, after his brilliant Winter Racing Festival success, Garfiney Blaze has been sold to the MWD Partnership and will be joining Mark Wallis.

A member of the sensational Ballymac Anton/ Ballymac Merkle litter, he will be joining his litter sister at the kennels of Mark Wallis and is set to be targeted at all the major staying events in the UK.

Said Mark Wallis of the dog, “Yeah, he travels great, is a beautiful dog and certainly one we can target the major 6/8 bend category 1s with in 2024.”

Indeed, he is. Have no doubt, Garfiney Blaze has the potential to be a real star in the UK in 2024 and we look forward to seeing how he settles in and performs over the coming months. The best of luck to his new connections.
