3-YEAR SPONSORSHIP ANNOUNCED WITH JAG BUILDING SERVICES UNVEILED

A new three-year sponsorship agreement was announced by Gavin O'Mahoney of Jag Building Services this week which will see events being hosted in Kilkenny, Enniscorthy, Clonmel and Kilcohan Park (Waterford).

This will be JAG Building Services second sponsorship agreement with Greyhound Racing Ireland and follows on the previous three deal which concluded earlier this year.  

The original 3-year agreement featured The Kilkenny Derby and The Munster Oaks (Kilcohan Park), with both of these been renewed for a further 3 years.

Alongside these events will now be an Unraced ON3 525 to be hosted at Enniscorthy, Clonmel & Kilcohan Park, with both the winner and runner-up of each final qualifying for a Grand Final in Kilkenny Greyhound Stadium.  

The total prize-money inclusive for the 3 years is set to be €150,000.

Derek Frehill, Director of Racing said, "Greyhound Racing Ireland are delighted to partner with Jag Building Services for a further 3-year term.  This investment will see 4 venues benefit from 7 events which will generate €150,000 in prizemoney over the agreement lifetime" He continued, "I think I speak for everyone within the industry when I say thank-you to Gavin O'Mahoney and his team for investing in Irish greyhound racing. There is something for everyone in this agreement and we will look forward to some fantastic racing during these events".
