TIME GREYHOUND NUTRITION SELECT STAKES IN KILCOHAN PARK

The €10,000 to the winner Time Greyhound Nutrition Select Stakes gets underway in Waterford tonight.

As always, it has attracted some really classy types and it promises to be another couple of exciting weeks at Kilcohan Park.

OPENING HEAT

In the opening heat, a narrow vote goes to Pape Di Oro for trainer Pat Buckley and owner Javier Jarne.

The May puppy delivered some really good performances in the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial and he clocked a fantastic 28.29 around the Limerick circuit. He will need a flying start in this but's capable of making every yard of the running.

Cryptopunk is an experienced tracker with high-class form and he's the next best for trainer Graham Holland and owner Simon Taylor. A recent 28.17 winner around Shelbourne, he should deliver a big performance.

IN OTHER HEATS

Wi Can Dream stands out in the third and final heat. Trained by Pat Guilfoyle for Lars Wicander, the in-form selection has delivered some magnificent performances in recent weeks and he has the early pace to dominate from start to finish.

The second heat is a wide open, however, a chance is worth taking with Kilgarney Sydney for Thomas Buggy. If returning to something near his best, he should go well from the inside of the track. Burgess Rapid is another player and she can feature if winning the all-important early lead.
