APEX GLOBAL RESOURCES ANNOUNCES CONTINUATION AS TITLE SPONSOR OF THE CORK OAKS

Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium has announced that Apex Global Resources have confirmed they will continue as the title sponsors of the  Cork Oaks for 2024.  The event will take place over 3 weekends during March (9^th, 16^th & 23^rd) is for 24 open-class bitches.

Last year was the first time that Apex Global Resources worked with Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium and have announced an increase  in prizemoney for the year ahead.  There will now be a winners’ prize of €7,000 along with an additional breeder’s incentive payment of €1,000 (as announced earlier this month).

The event which first commenced in Curraheen Park in 2001 was previously hosted in the stadium in the Western Road, is seen as the curtain-raiser for Oaks events nationwide and a strong entry is expected.

Darren Hogan, Racing Manager at Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium said, “We are delighted to continue to partner with Apex Global Resources for the Cork Oaks. Their investment in racing here at Curraheen Park will help to promote greyhound racing, support owners and trainers. We are grateful to have them confirm their sponsorship for 2024 and look forward to a competitive event.”
