ADDITIONAL PRIZE MONEY GOES DOWN WELL AT CURRAHEEN PARK ON FRIDAY

The Curraheen Park Supporters Club held a brilliant night on Friday as all races held additional prize money which always proves very beneficial to owners.

There were some good performances on the night and it was Vernons George who went quickest on the clock when winning the closing race, an A3, for the Holland-Cashman-Syndicate. The even-money favourite displayed plenty of early dash and the promising September puppy scored easily, in 28.76.

In the third, the Dan Murphy Shannonvale Memorial, it was Dashgrove Becky who impressed with a fine front-running winning display for Eimear Finn. The 5-4 favourite led all the way to win, in 28.95. A brave performance, pulling out all the stops late on, beating Kilane Beauty, by a length.

Kilane Lady clocked 28.96 in winning the fifth, the Clasheen Kennels A3, for Patsy O'Sullivan and John O'Rourke. The even-money favourite powered to a fine success.

In other races, Marys Clover ran out a wide-margin winner in the opener for Damien and Jeremiah Roche. The August puppy pulled right away to win in style, a 29.00-second winning run in the A8-A10 event.

The Rosstemple Boarding Kennels A5/A6 also got underway on the night. Full results on the Greyhound Racing Ireland Results page.

If you haven't become a member of the Curraheen Park Supporters Club, you can still get involved and support all the fantastic work they are doing. A lot of effort and hard work is going into this and they are putting everything back into racing at the Cork track.
