2025 ERIC BROWNE MEMORIAL KINGDOM DERBY

It's nearly Kingdom Derby time in Tralee! The 2025 Eric Browne Memorial Kingdom Derby, kindly sponsored by Berkie Browne and family, begins Friday December 6th for 24 AA0 greyhounds over 525 yards.
Speaking about the upcoming event Racing Manager Kieran Casey said "We are delighted here at KGS to have Berkie & Patsy Browne Bookmakers back to sponsor the Eric Browne Memorial Kingdom Derby. This is the fifth year of the Browne Family sponsoring this wonderful event to close out the year.
It was won in 2024 by the Fr Mossie Brick owned Ballymac Briar and trained of course by Liam Dowling. Liam could be back again with a strong team for this year’s Kingdom Derby as well as many of the other top performers around the country."
Sponsor Berkie Browne told how all are looking forward to this event, "A special time in Tralee to finish up the racing with final night just before Christmas with a sweep of this caliber coming in at just the right time, directly after the Winter Racing Festival and hopefully we will see a strong field of top quality greyhounds".
