The opening round of the €5,000 to the winner 1Xbet Supersprint are the feature races at Curraheen Park tonight.
Solo And Go, runner-up in the Laurels and a winner of the Kingdom Derby, looks a real player for outright glory, and he can take the third heat for trainer Liam Dowling and owners the Kingdom Palace Syndicate. A fine second in the recent final of the Gold Cup at Shelbourne Park, the classy performer impressed in a recent spin around course and distance, clocking a top-class 17.36. On that running, he should prove far too strong in this.
Trained by Colm Fitzgerald for owners the Zero Zero Syndicate, Tiermana Dream will take plenty of stopping in the opening heat. In fine form in recent times, the selection clocked an impressive 17.51 when winning around here last time out. Drawn well, in trap two, with another quick start likely, he should take plenty of stopping. The likes of the Jack Kennell-trained Bomber Nina, a 17.39 winner around Tralee and Ballymac Stud, who clocked 17.56 in a recent trial for Liam Dowling, are obvious dangers in this line-up.
Sogna Ancora, 2025 Sprinter of the year, lines up in the second heat for trainer Jack Kennelly and owners the Swedish House Mafia Syndicate. No stranger to big performances, the selection posted 17.60 in a recent spin around the Cork circuit, and the super-talented tracker is the one to beat.
Stonepark Browne, one of Ireland's leading sprinters, should land the fourth and final heat. Trained by Michael O'Donovan for owner Michael O'Dwyer, the selection displayed bundles of speed to win last time out, clocking 17.46 around Tralee. Drawn well, in trap two, with a level start, he should prove far too strong in this.
The Dynamic Force @ Stud A2/A3 event got off to a flying start last week, and it should deliver another couple of big performances. In the second heat, Danish Bubble, trained by Graham Holland for owners the Slaterry Family Syndicate, stands out, and back-to-back winning performances look likely. That was an eye-catching comeback victory last week, posting 28.78, and with improvement likely for that outing, another front-running winning run is expected.
Race nine can go the way of the improving Princess Rosie. Trained by Kieran Lynch for owner Vincent O'Keeffe, the well-bred youngster has a couple of big runs in the book, and she impressed around course and distance back on March 7, when leading early and winning in 28.61. That was her first outing over the standard distance, and she looks capable of improving on that clock. The rails draw is a massive plus, and she should make a bold bid from the front in this.
Liam Dowling's Ballymac Iroko is the obvious danger. He has bundles of speed; however, trapping can let him down. He will need to turn handy around the opening corners, and in doing so, he would become a big danger to all.
Elsewhere on the card, Super Syd can get punters off to a flying start by winning for David Harrington. When putting his best foot forward, he is pretty smart, and this looks like a good winning opportunity. If producing one of his better starts, he will be hard to hold in this. Dean Harpur Ballycowen Daisy is the obvious danger out wide. She has some decent form in the book, and the early paced lady is not without a chance in this.
