SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT

Job Title:                            Sales & customer service agent

Scope of the Role:

Reporting to the Sales & Reservations Manager this role involves dealing with day to day customer queries as well as forward selling and promoting Stadium entertainment, Tote and dining packages over the telephone and by using email. Managing relationships and interacting with key accounts and potential customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Dealing with day to day sales query calls from customers.
  • Sending promotional emails
  • Identifying and maintaining customer relationships with key accounts.
  • Operating the Restaurant Diary booking and CRM systems.
  • Dealing with Corporate clients
  • Meeting agreed sales targets
  • Monitoring of customer feedback and responding to complaints/compliments in a timely & professional manner.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service standards
  • Promoting Stadium entertainment, Hospitality and Tote packages
  • Processing customer payments
  • Sales promotions, outbound selling and cold calling
  • Office administration and file management systems
  • Day to day liaison with catering subsidiary EHS & Stadium Management
  • Comply with all GRI procedures including all statutory procedures- Fire Health and Safety, hygiene, internal audit.
  • To carry out any other reasonable task as assigned by management to meet business needs.

Hours of Work

The role is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week out of 6, Monday to Saturday but may vary depending on the needs of the business.

Key skills and Competencies:

  • Proven experience within a sales/customer service role
  • A self-motivated, competitive individual with drive, enthusiasm and a proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets preferably over the phone
  • Display a high level of customer engagement experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite & reporting systems
  • Ability to work on one’s own initiative.
