Rásaíocht Con Éireann (RCÉ) / Greyhound Racing Ireland (GRI) is a commercial semi-state body responsible for the Promotion and Development of Greyhound Racing in Ireland. The role of Marketing Executive is an exciting role within a hard-working, creative and dynamic Marketing Team at Greyhound Racing Ireland.
As Marketing Executive, you will be reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with the Senior Marketing Executive to bring our group of stadia brands and events to life with campaigns via multi-platform strategies (including high-quality videos, photos, static social posts, infographics, gifs, website landing pages, PR, event management, press, radio and more).
The position will be based in Greyhound Racing Ireland Head Office in Limerick but will involve work with all 10 regional stadia. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
This marketing executive role is ideal for a young an enthusiastic marketeer who is looking to kick start a successful career in marketing. To allow you do this, we are seeking an executive who can perform several activities including:
-Ensure that all website and social media content is managed and up to date.
-Responsible for maintaining strong relationships with stadia teams and 3rd party suppliers to gain the best possible content is produced.
-Provide creative input and assist with developing promotional programs, marketing campaigns and marketing projects.
-Collaborate with and learn from different cross-functional teams.
-Assist other GRI departments with their Marketing requirements and management of the internal advertising channels.
-Work on event projects as part of the wider organisation.
Hours of Work
The role is a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week normally Monday to Friday but will require flexible hours including some nights and weekends to assist at high profile events nationwide.
Key Skills and Competencies:
The ideal marketing candidate is going to bring a high level of confidence, integrity and passion to the role.
As a marketing executive in this type of fast-paced environment, you must possess certain abilities.
-A professional qualification in Marketing or a related field is preferred.
-Previous Experience and fluency with software’s such as Adobe Creative Cloud and HubSpot is desirable but not essential.
-Previous Experience managing both social media platforms and websites is desirable but not essential.
-Have strong copywriting abilities and fluent English is essential.
-Previous Experience in maintaining and building website content and managing an e-commerce website is desirable but not essential.
